Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing www.littlescholarsllc.com, enrolling in any program, or communicating with Little Scholars LLC (“Little Scholars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Parent,” “Guardian,” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

These Terms apply to all users including parents, guardians, school administrators, teachers, and any other individuals interacting with Little Scholars LLC.

2. Description of Services

Little Scholars LLC provides educational enrichment programs, summer camps, tutoring, and related services to children and school districts. Our services include:

  • After-School Enrichment Programs
  • Summer Camps
  • One-on-One and Small Group Tutoring
  • Kindergarten Readiness Assessments
  • Total Program Management for Schools and Districts
  • Grant-Funded and Whole-District Programs

Little Scholars LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Enrollment and Registration

3.1 Eligibility

Programs are designed for children in pre-K through middle school. Specific eligibility requirements vary by program.

3.2 Enrollment Agreement

By completing enrollment, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your child
  • Promptly update us of any changes to contact, medical, or emergency information
  • Comply with all program rules, schedules, and conduct expectations

3.3 Program Availability

Enrollment is subject to availability. Little Scholars LLC reserves the right to accept or decline enrollment at its discretion.

4. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

4.1 Program Fees

Fees for each program are outlined at the time of enrollment. All fees are due prior to or at program commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before a program start date may be eligible for a full or partial refund at Little Scholars’ discretion.
  • No refunds will be issued for missed sessions, late withdrawals, or removals due to code of conduct violations.
  • Summer camp cancellations follow the specific refund schedule provided at registration.

Little Scholars LLC is not responsible for program interruptions due to school closures, weather, or other events beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or credit affected sessions.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants — students, parents, and guardians — must maintain a respectful, safe environment. The following may result in immediate removal without refund:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior toward staff or other participants
  • Possession or use of weapons, illegal substances, or prohibited items
  • Destruction of property or theft
  • Repeated violations of program rules after written or verbal warnings

Little Scholars LLC staff are trained mandated reporters. Any suspected child abuse or neglect will be reported to appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable law.

6. Health, Safety, and Medical Information

You agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or special needs at the time of enrollment. This information is used solely to ensure your child’s safety.

By enrolling, you authorize Little Scholars LLC staff to seek emergency medical treatment for your child if you cannot be reached. You are responsible for any associated medical costs.

7. Photography and Media Release

Little Scholars LLC may photograph or record students during programs for use in marketing and promotional materials. By enrolling, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your child’s likeness unless you submit a written opt-out request to info@littlescholarsllc.com.

8. SMS and Text Message Communications

8.1 Program Overview

Little Scholars LLC operates an SMS messaging program to keep parents, guardians, schools, and community members informed about our programs and services. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from Little Scholars LLC.

8.2 Types of Messages

You may receive the following types of messages:

  • Program enrollment confirmations and reminders
  • Schedule updates, cancellations, or changes
  • Emergency and safety notifications
  • Upcoming program, camp, and event announcements
  • Promotional offers and general announcements

8.3 How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages by:

  • Providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our enrollment or contact form
  • Texting a designated keyword to our SMS number as listed in program materials
  • Providing verbal or written consent during enrollment or registration

By opting in, you confirm you are the mobile account holder or have authorization to provide consent for the number given.

8.4 How to Opt Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. You will receive one final confirmation message. To re-subscribe, reply START or opt in again through our website or enrollment form.

8.6 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your enrollment and program activity. You can expect between 2 and 10 messages per month on average, with higher frequency during active camp or program sessions.

8.7 Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Little Scholars LLC is not responsible for any charges you incur from receiving our messages.

8.8 10DLC Compliance

Our SMS program is registered under the 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC) framework with major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Our messaging practices comply with:

  • The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
  • CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices
  • Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) guidelines
  • Carrier-specific 10DLC campaign requirements

8.9 Consent Not Required for Enrollment

Consent to receive SMS messages is never required as a condition of enrollment or purchasing any program or service from Little Scholars LLC.

8.10 SMS Privacy

Your mobile phone number will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. It is used solely within the Little Scholars LLC SMS program.

9. Email Communications

By providing your email address, you consent to receiving communications related to your enrollment and programs. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Service and transactional emails may still be sent as necessary.

10. Privacy

Your use of Little Scholars LLC services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at www.littlescholarsllc.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

11. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All information about minor participants is collected from parents or guardians. Where applicable in school district partnerships, we comply with FERPA.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on www.littlescholarsllc.com, including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, and program designs, is the property of Little Scholars LLC and protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Scholars LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Scholars LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Little Scholars LLC is primarily incorporated. Disputes shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation before pursuing legal action.

16. Changes to These Terms

Little Scholars LLC may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
