Our program is uniquely positioned to provide quality tutoring, mentoring, and other specialty support services to meet your child’s needs, enrich their lives and put a smile on everyone’s face because we have been doing this since 2006!

HOW WILL LITTLE SCHOLARS DROP OFF ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAM AND SMALL GROUP TUTORING HELP MY CHILD AND ME?

We will play an active role in managing your child’s virtual schedule including check ins with the classroom teacher if desired, ensure completion of assignments, review work for accuracy and provide academic tutoring and enrichment activities. You will have the reassurance of knowing that this is taken care of by an experienced teacher. Is there anything better than a little peace of mind right now?!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DROP OFF ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAM AND SMALL GROUP TUTORING?

The drop off services will be held at our Learning Lab in Richmond, Virginia which has been thoughtfully transformed into a safe and fun place for our Little Scholars to learn outside of their home. The small group sessions will be held at a family’s home or another mutually agreed upon spot. Both programs will be run by our awesome Little Scholars teachers!

This program is for families who are looking for support outside of their home with certified teachers.

K-6th GRADE PROGRAM

Monday through Friday from 8am-2pm (if you need an early drop off, please let us know…we will work with YOUR schedule.) Management of your child’s virtual schedule including check ins with the classroom teacher if desired, ensure completion of assignments, review work for accuracy and provide academic tutoring and enrichment activities. Parents must sign up for the same day for the entire month. Parents will provide lunch and technology devices for their child. The cost is $75 per child per day. 6th-12th GRADE PROGRAM

Wednesdays from 5-8pm. Homework support including assurance of completion of assignments, review work for accuracy and academic tutoring. The cost is $37.50 per child per day. WHAT WILL MY CHILD NEED FOR THE DROP OFF PROGRAM AT THE LSLL?

•Plug for technology device •Backpack with any necessary work and materials •Working headphones plus a back up set of headphones •Mask (children may take their mask off at their desk) •Peanut free snack, lunch and labeled water bottle •Information on how to access all needed virtual learning sites including codes on classroom links, how to contact teacher or necessary technology person for support help

WHAT WILL LITTLE SCHOLARS PROVIDE FOR MY CHILD AT THE LSLL?

An awesome and experienced classroom teacher Safe environment for your child to learn, socialize and have fun Communication with teacher if desired Daily updates to parents Miscellaneous materials such as scissors, pencils, markers, dry erase boards, paper, stapler, tape, note cards, file folders, etc

TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR SMALL GROUP SUPPORT PROGRAMS “PODS”

This is a great option for families who would like to host a small group of up to eight children in their home. The host family will put together the group and we will send in the teacher! We will take care of invoicing the families so they can easily pay via credit card at the beginning of each month. The weekly cost will be divided among the children and the family will be invoiced accordingly. Sessions must be at least two hours in length. To set up a pod, please contact us.

Home or mutually agreed upon spot with desks and chairs that can be positioned at an appropriate distance. Outlets for all devices. Strong WiFi connection Students will need a their technology device, plug for their technology device, backpack with any necessary work and materials, working headphones plus a back up set of headphones, mask (children may take their mask off at their desk), peanut free snack, lunch and labeled water bottle and information on how to access all needed virtual learning sites including codes on classroom links, how to contact teacher or necessary technology person for support help

This gives parents a peace of mind that their child’s work will be done correctly, we will cater to your child’s learning style, remediation will be done while they are learning and extension activities will be created to keep your Little Scholars challenged and excited about learning.

WHAT TYPE OF TECHNOLOGY DOES MY CHILD NEED?

Parents will be responsible for sending in any technology devices that will be needed for the sessions. Parents will provide access to the student information as it pertains to classwork, school log in information, etc. Parents will make sure their child’s technology device is fully charged before the session and will send the power source. Little Scholars will not be responsible for any damage to technology devices.
